Weekly Home Watch Visits
Perfect for when you'll be away for 2 or more months. Weekly visits include visual inspection of your home's exterior, interior and garage areas for signs of damage such as that from vandalism, water, mold and pests. These visits also check to insure your A/C, refrigerator and sprinkler systems are functioning. Hurricane and storm watches are included in this service. So is mail pick-up and bringing in packages. Automobile and golf cart maintenance as well as plant watering can be added on request.
Vacation Visits
Are you going away for less than 2 months and just require a short home visit and watering of your plants then this service is perfect for you. We can visit your home one or more times per week and water plants that are indoors, on the lanai or in pots outside. This service also includes weekly mail pickup. Hurricane & Storm watch service can also be added.
Hurricane & Storm Watch
Should a storm pass through our neighborhood, we will conduct both pre and post storm checks on your home . Pre storm checks include insuring all outside items have been secured and taking pictures of your property just in case they are needed for insurance claims. Post storm checks inspect your home for visual damage post storm.
Property Management Inspection
Do you rent your property and require semi annual inspection of your rental property? We will work with you to create a check list of items to be inspected and schedule your inspections. Upon completion of the inspection, you will receive a written report.

Questions
How do I get started?
Simply call, text or email us to set-up a free 30 minute visit. During this visit we'll review your needs and create a personalized weekly checklist. We’ll also ask for information about your home such as how to get access and preferred vendors. Lastly, we’ll review our service agreement with you.
What is included in the weekly home visit?
Each home visit includes a visible inspection of the outside of the house, inside of house and the garage. Your customized checklist is used to ensure everything has been inspected. Notes are included regarding anything that was observed and needs attention. Upon completion of your house visit, the checklist along with our notes will be sent to you via email.
Does the service require a contract?
No, there is no required contract period. You only pay for the weeks your house is visited. We do ask that you sign an service agreement which outlines what you can expect from While You're Away and what is required by you the homeowner.
How do you set your fees?
The all-inclusive plan includes weekly house visits, pre and post storm visits including pre-storm photos, letting in vendors and light management of issues that occur. Fees are based on the size of your home and any added services you choose such as plant watering and golf cart maintenance. Al la carte pricing is available for visits less often than every week, upon request.
What if something happens to my house while I'm away?
If something happens at your house that requires immediate attention - such as the A/C is no longer working, we will contact you immediately. You can then decide how to address the problem and work directly with your vendors. We are available to assist with items such as letting in vendors, sending pictures of the completed work and locking the house after the vendors leave. This is included in your all inclusive weekly service fee. Please note that any additional time required at your house, such as remaining with the vendors while they complete their work, is charged at an hourly rate.

My Name is Marcy Reman
I have been a homeowner in the Ocala Preserve Community for 6 years. When I first purchased my home, I also continued to maintain my home up north, After owning 2 homes for a while, I made Ocala my permanent home. In December 2023, I retired from my corporate career as a project manager for a nationally branded food manufacturing. In my corporate role, I enjoyed creating processes that were easy to follow, helping others to succeed and gaining the trust and confidence of those I worked with. When I was deciding on what to do with the next chapter of my life, the idea of providing a service to watch the homes of my neighbors, who are snow birds or travel a lot, seemed to be a perfect blend of my talents and serving our community. Hence, I started While You're Away Concierge Services LLC.
